WHAT IS DTS?
DTS was created by Digital Theater Systems for storing multi-channel audio data. The DTS format is supported by many audio playback devices. We’ve provided the specifications for the DTS file type below.
Digital Theater Systems
A DTS file contains five audio tracks for surround sound systems: one center, two front, and two rear speakers. A DTS file can also include metadata details such as timestamps and the date and time the file was created. Below, we’ve listed some of the programs that can play DTS files.
